ABOUT

Hi, I’m Karen Kjobech and I love design, all design, from architecture to a well-designed vacuum. I also like solving problems, from space flow issues to crossword puzzles. That’s just who I am and why I love my job so much. I get to solve problems every day in a creative, thoughtful way and hopefully improve the lives of many people in the process.

The design process, whether for your home or business, can be a very personal journey and I’m humbled to be asked to be part of it. It is a process based on both mutual respect and trust that I do not take lightly. I’m grateful to be able to help you improve your surroundings and sense of well-being through the spaces you live, breathe, and experience life in on a daily basis.

As for me, I followed a rather circuitous path to the design world. After graduating from UW as a business major and working as a technology project manager for 5 years, I wanted to engage my right brain a little more and decided to go back to school for interior design. Upon graduating from the interior design program at Bellevue College, a CIDA-accredited school (the Council for Interior Design Accreditation ensures students receive the highest quality education available by setting rigorous standards for all post-secondary college and university interior design programs), we moved to Wenatchee, WA and remodeled our own house. I then stayed at home raising my kids for the next 7 years and began working part-time in 2015. I now look forward to opening my doors a little more so give me a ring to discuss your project!
